László Lovász, one of the leading mathematicians
of our time, has obtained groundbreaking results in
various fields of mathematics which solved many
outstanding problems and had applications in
mathematics and theoretical computer science.
His comprehensive books are invaluable sources
for generations of mathematicians over the world.
He has published five research papers in
Acta Scientiarum Mathematicarum,
which constitute significant contributions
to discrete mathematics, algebra, and geometry.
