Publication
Acta Scientiarum Mathematicarum (ISSN: 0001-6969) is published twice a year. These two issues make a volume of four numbers.
Acta Scientiarum Mathematicarum, or Acta Sci. Math. (Szeged) as referred to by the Mathematical Reviews, indexed by: Mathematical Reviews (MathSciNet), ZentralBlatt Math, Scopus, Crossref, ESCI of Thomson Reuters, etc.
Acta Scientiarum Mathematicarum supports Open Access publication to make research available to the widest possible audience. Conditions for Publishing
Acta Sci. Math. (Szeged) publishes pure mathematics papers that contain new and significant results. The article must be well written and of interest to a substantial number of mathematicians. The language of the paper should be English.
Copyright
By submitting papers the authors certify that the manuscripts have not been submitted to and are not under consideration for publication at another journal, conference proceedings, or similar publication. Furthermore, submission of manuscripts implies that, if and when the manuscript is accepted for publication, the authors agree to automatic transfer of copyright to the publisher.
Format of manuscripts
Authors should take the greatest possible care in preparing the manuscript. We encourage to use any available dialect of TEX. To comply with general conventions of style used in our Acta, recent issues beginning with volume 57 should be consulted. On the first page of the manuscript a descriptive title and the names and affiliations, together with the mail and electronic addresses, of the authors must appear followed by an abstract that summarizes the article. The abstract should be at least one complete sentence, and at most 15 lines. The AMS subject classification numbers and appropriate keywords should be also given.
Submission
In the preferred way, authors should submit their papers online using our editorial system . Register at the site as author creating a username and password, then log in. Fill in the forms offered by the system, and upload the PDF or PS file of the manuscript. A message acknowledging the submission will be sent by e-mail. Authors should confirm their submission simply by pushing the reply button.
An alternative (less preferred) way of submission is to send the PDF or PS file of the manuscript to the Editor-in-Chief to the e-mail address actasm.editor@math.u-szeged.hu, accompanied by a message expressing the intention of the authors. In all cases the article will be uploaded to the electronic editorial system.
Editorial process
All papers are refereed. Once a paper is accepted, the corresponding author will be asked to send the manuscript's TEX file. Receiving the TEX source file considerably speeds up the publication of the paper. No manuscript will be sent back to the author. Authors of papers accepted for publication will receive only one proof. The proofs are sent to the corresponding author, unless requested otherwise.
Reprints
The corresponding author, at no cost, will be provided with a PDF file of the article via e-mail. The PDF file is a watermarked copyrighted version of the published article, which can be sent to colleagues, but cannot be posted on open websites.
